Preparation is Everything: The Pre Cleanse Before You Detox
Before beginning any detox or cleanse, it’s important to prepare your body and mind. Think of this as your gentle landing strip into the deeper work ahead. When we dive straight into detoxing without any prep, it can feel like a shock to the system, leading to stronger detox symptoms like headaches, fatigue, or irritability.
To get the most out of the next 7 days, we recommend easing into it with a 3-7 day pre-cleanse, a clean, simple way of eating that helps your body shift gears and begin letting go of toxins before we fully begin.
Why Follow the Pre Cleanse?

Reduces cravings for sugar, caffeine, and processed foods
Starts gently cleansing the liver and colon

What to Include (Clean In):
Lots of fresh vegetables (especially leafy greens and cruciferous veg like broccoli and cauliflower)
Raw or lightly steamed foods
Fresh fruits (especially low-sugar ones like berries, apples, pears)
Herbal teas (like peppermint, nettle, ginger, dandelion)
Clean water (aim for 2L daily, try adding lemon or cucumber)
Whole grains (like quinoa, brown rice, millet)
Plant-based proteins (lentils, mung beans, chickpeas)
Healthy fats (avocados, hemp seeds, flax oil, olive oil)
