Kundalini Yoga — The Art of Awakening ✨
Monday 16th November | 7pm UK | Live Online | 60 Minutes
Awaken your awareness. Reconnect with your energy. Discover the power of going within.
Have you ever felt as though you're moving through life on autopilot?
Rushing from one responsibility to the next, juggling everything that needs doing, thinking about yesterday or worrying about tomorrow, but rarely finding a moment to simply be present?
Sometimes we become so caught up in the noise of everyday life that we lose touch with ourselves.
But what if awakening wasn't about changing who we are?
What if it was simply about becoming more aware of ourselves, our thoughts, our emotions and the way we move through life?
Join me for a beautiful 60-minute introduction to Kundalini Yoga, a fascinating practice that brings together breathwork, movement, mantra and meditation to explore awareness, energy and connection.
In traditional yogic philosophy, Kundalini is described as a dormant spiritual energy, symbolically represented as a coiled serpent resting at the base of the spine. Kundalini practices are traditionally intended to awaken this energy and support spiritual growth.
But you don't need to believe in anything mystical to enjoy this workshop.
We'll approach these teachings with curiosity, exploring how conscious movement, breathing, sound and stillness can help us become more present and connected to ourselves.
What we'll explore
🌿 The Philosophy of Kundalini — Discover the traditional meaning of Kundalini energy, the symbolism of awakening and how these teachings invite us to explore our inner world.
🧘 Movement & Kriyas — Experience gentle, repetitive movements inspired by Kundalini Yoga, combining movement with breath and focused attention. These will be accessible, with options to practise seated.
🌬️ Breathwork (Pranayama) — Explore comfortable breathing techniques that invite us to notice our energy, settle our attention and connect with the present moment.
✨ Mantra & Meditation — Discover the power of repetition, sound and silence. We'll explore how mantra can give the busy mind somewhere to rest and create space for deeper reflection.
🤍 Awareness & Self-Discovery — Take time to notice the patterns, thoughts and expectations that shape our everyday lives, without judgement or pressure to change everything.
🌙 Deep Relaxation — Finish with a guided meditation, allowing the body to settle and giving yourself permission to simply be.
Who is this workshop for?
Absolutely everyone!
Whether you're completely new to Kundalini Yoga, curious about its spiritual traditions or simply looking for a different way to connect with yourself, you're warmly welcome.
You don't need to be flexible, experienced in meditation or particularly spiritual.
There will be options throughout the practice, and you're always welcome to pause, rest or adapt the movements to suit your body.
This is an invitation to explore, not a challenge to achieve.

A little thought to take away...
We spend so much of our lives searching for the next thing that might make us happier, healthier, more confident or more fulfilled.
Another achievement. Another goal. Another version of ourselves to work towards.
But perhaps awakening isn't about discovering something that's missing.
Perhaps it's about recognising what has been there all along.
You don't need to become someone new. You are already enough.
Come with an open mind, a little curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Lots of love,
Beck xx
